Since 1943, Associated Spot Welders (ASW) has delivered high-precision resistance spot welding services trusted by aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturers. Spot welding is where our story began — it was the foundation on which ASW was built more than 80 years ago, joining metal components through the precise application of heat and pressure at targeted points. Today, ASW holds Merit Status for its Nadcap-approved spot welding services, a reflection of our long-standing commitment to quality, consistency, and process control. Over the decades, we’ve refined our craft, combining proven expertise with modernized equipment and rigorous inspection practices to ensure weld integrity from prototype to full-rate production.

Spot Welding Capabilities

ASW works with Group 1 aluminum and magnesium alloys, Group 2 steel, nickel, and cobalt alloys, and Group 3 titanium alloys. Our approved weld range is .005”–.125” for these materials, with equipment capable of reaching up to .200”. All work is performed using precision Sciaky resistance welding machines.
